LAZY BONES

As our name implies we are a laid back group. We are a little crazy but not committable. We just like having fun and sure do enjoy our monthly campouts and get togethers.

We have members form different parts of Louisiana and Mississippi. Our campouts are usually the second full weekend of the month. Some of our retired members like to arrive on Thursday. Each month has a different Wagon Master (host). The host chooses the campground and decides on and prepares the main course for our meal on Saturday. All other members attending fix the side dishes. Sometimes we play games or just sit around talking. When it’s cold we like to build a fire and roast marshmallows. Whether we’re camping or just having a get together, we sure do love to eat and have lots of fun.

We welcome guest to come check out our chapter and we are always open to new members. If you would like to attend a campout, contact our president at the email address listed.

JANUARY 19th thru 22nd, Red River Waterway Campground, Colfax, LA. We have to call and make our own reservations, 318-627-2640, Let them know that you are with the Lazy Bonz Good Sams. Leroy and Jackie are host and have made reservation for 10 sites. We will have use of the building for our use while we are there.

MARCH 8th thru 11th, DIRECTORS MEETING, Paragon RV Park., Marksville, LA.

MARCH 15th thru 18th, Lake Lincoln, Wesson, MS. Host are Johnny and Sheryl Wynters.

MARCH 29th thru APRIL 1st, Hollywood Casino RV Park., Bay St. Louis, MS. Host are David and Pat Booher. They will be on site 64 close to the pavilion. We need to make our own reservation, ask to be close to the pavilion, the number to call is 1-866-758-2591, tell them you are with Lazy Bonz Good Sams.

APRIL 12th thru 15th, SPRING SAMBOREE, in Rayne, LA., the Frog Capitol of LA. They have some very beautiful Frog Murals on some of the buildings.

MAY 3rd thru 6th, Jimmy Davis St Park campground. host are Tom and Catherine Taylor.

We try to get together during one month to go out and eat, to keep in touch with each other.

SEPTEMBER 13th thru 16th, Clear Springs Park, Meadville, MS. Host are Leonard and Lerlene Sicard.

OCTOBER, 1st thru 8th, Lake Catherine St Park, Hot Springs, AK. This is a Group Campout.

NOVEMBER 8th thru 11th, Fontainebleau St. Park., Mandeville, LA. Host are Cookie and Beverly Mayeux.

NOVEMBER--FALL SAMBOREE. WILL HAVE DATES FOR YOU AFTER OUR SPRING SAMBOREE.

DECEMBER 6th thru 9th, Vance Park, Liberty, MS. Our Christmas Party and Campout, Host are Lacey and Marilyn Glascock.
