You must earn this patch before you can wear it. To qualify for this Region 4
Samboree patch you must attend a Samboree in each of the Region 4 States. The
States are: Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas. If you
attend an International Samboree in one of these States, it may count for that
State, but cannot count for any other State. You must have a verification form
filled out giving the date, location and signed by the State Director of the
State verifying that you attended the Samboree in that State. You will then be
eligible to purchase this patch from the Patch Person of Region 4. A star may
be purchased for each qualification thereafter. After the basic patch has been
earned, the Region 4 decal can be purchased.
- SAMBOREE CENTURY MEMBER PATCH (This is a Region 4
patch): Click

When you have attended 10 Samboree’s, you will be eligible to wear a Century
Patch. This is for any 10 Samboree’s with at least 1 of them being in Region
4. A certification form must have been completed as mentioned above. When you
have attended 10 Samboree’s, this patch may be purchased and presented only at
a Region 4 Samboree. The second 10 Samboree’s qualify you for a star. The same
procedure is to be followed as for the original BASIC PATCH. This patch must
also be earned before you can wear it. Once you earn the BASIC PATCH, you may
purchase a Century Decal.
- LOUISIANA CARAVAN PATCH AND COONS:
To be eligible for the Louisiana Caravan Patch you must caravan with 3 or more
RV’s to a Samboree. An officer of your chapter must verify this. Only one
verification form is needed listing the names of all the rigs in the caravan.
After the BASIC PATCH has been earned, you will be eligible for a coon by
following the same procedure. The coons are for the second and succeeding
caravans, NOT for the first caravan.
- 100 SAMBOREE PATCH:
When you have attended 100 Samboree’s, you will be eligible to wear this
patch. This is for one-hundred Samboree’s with at least 1 of them having been
in Region 4.
- ANOTHER 100 SAMBOREE BAR:
When you have attended 200 Samboree’s, with 2 of these being in Region 4, you
will qualify to wear this bar.
- LOUISIANA SAMBOREE PATCH:
This patch is a Samboree patch; one for the Louisiana Spring Samboree and one
for the Louisiana Fall Samboree. A patch is given to each one who registers
and attends either of these Samboree’s.
